Indian Air Force recruiting unmarried Indian male citizens as Airmen in the category of group X (Technical) and Y (Non – Technical ) . The online registration for the AIF airmen recruitment 2015 begins.
Indian Air Force invites online application for the selection test in April – May 2016 to join as Airmen in Group X (Technical) Trades or Group Y (Non – Technical ) or both Groups X and Y. The Indian Air Force Recruitment 2015–16 Online Registration will start from November 8, 2015.
The eligible Indian citizen can register online application for the Indian Air Force Recruitment Rally upto 28th November.

Airmen Recruitment 2015- Eligibility
Group X (Technical)
Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
OR
Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course
Group Y (Non-Technical)
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed Two years Vocational Course recognized by Association of Indian Universities (CBSE / Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Education Kerala) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course
Groups X and Y (Eligible for both Technical and Non-Technical)
Passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Candidates will take the examination for Group X and Group Y subjects in one sitting and can qualify for Group X and Group Y or both i.e. if candidate passes in English and Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA) then he will be considered pass in Group Y and if he passes in English, Physics and Maths, he is considered pass in Group X). If a candidate clears in all the four subjects, he will be considered pass in Group ‘X’ and Group ‘Y’. Diploma holders are eligible to appear only for Group ‘X’

(a) Between 01 August 1996 and 30 November 1999
(b) In case, a candidate clears the Selection Procedure then the upper age limit as on date of enrollment is 21 years

Air Force Airmen Recruitment Selection procedure includes Verification of Eligibility, Written Test, Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT),Interview and Medical Examination.
Airmen Recruitment Selection Examination Centers
Indian Airforce recruitment section examination will be conducted various exam centers across India. The centers are Ambala, New Delhi, Kanpur, Barrackpore (Kolkata), Jodhpur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Bihta (Patna), Guwahati, Secunderabad, Kochi and Bhopal.

IAF Airmen Recruitment 2015-16 Online Registration
The candidates can apply online for Indian Air force Recruitment Rally 2015-16 through their official web site www.airmenselection.gov.in. The Online registration for the Selection Test will be available from 08 to 28 NOVEMBER 2015 . The candidate must have to complete online registration of the Airmen Recruitment Selection Test.
After successful registration, the duly filled color printout of online application along with all required attachments (as applicable) is required to be sent to Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB) by ordinary post only, so as to reach CASB latest by 05 DECEMBER 2015
Airmen Recruitment Selection Test Result 2015-16 (AISL) on www.airmenselection.gov.in
Indian Air Force will publish the Airmen Recruitment Selection Test Result on their official web site www.airmenselection.gov.in on 31 October2016.
The test Result ie All India Select List (AISL) will be based on the performance of written test exam.
