Indian Railway Opened Twitter accounts to communicate with passengers

The Indian Railway has opened Twitter accounts to communicate with the passengers. The passengers can report their complaints, request their requirements and share their suggestions and views with the officials through these twitter accounts. The Indian Railway is in a view that using the social media effectively, solutions to the complaints can be handled easily.

All the Divisional Managers (DRM) and Regional General Managers have opened their Twitter accounts, though there is an account for the Department of Indian Railway as @RailMinIndia already exists. The passengers from Kerala can tweet their complaints to the DRMs of Palakkad or Thiruvananthapuram and to the General Manager of Southern Railway.

Railway passengers can use these followed Indian Twitter Accounts to communicate with each divisions. Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division- @tvc138, Palakkad Railway Division – @propgt14, Southern Railway Manager – @GMSRailway.
