MG University degree admission and applications will be processed through a single window system (SWS). The candidates can submit their online application through SWS using the university web site www.cap.mgu.ac.in. All the candidates must have to submit their MG UGCAP online application through this web site before the last date and time.

MU University UGCAP Allotment / Degree Admission Allotments

Degree Admission/ Allotment of seats under merit quota is governed by a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). The selection/ Allotment of a candidate to any college will be based on the rank of the candidate and the availability of seats. While a reserved category candidate entitled to admission on the basis of his/her merit will have the option of taking admission to the colleges where a specified number of seats have been
kept reserved for reserved category, but he/ she will be deemed to have been admitted as an open category candidate and not as a reserved category candidate.

Details of Allotment of seats through Centralized Allotment Process

i. Govt. Colleges: Total seats available in government colleges except Sports/Cultural/PD quotas

ii. Aided Colleges: Open quota seats, seats earmarked for SC/ST candidates

iii. Unaided Colleges/ Unaided Programmes conducted in Aided Colleges: 50% of the total seats including seats reserved for SC/ST and SEBC

The remaining seats under community quota (Aided Colleges only)/management quota (Aided and Unaided Colleges and Unaided Programmes conducted in Aided Colleges)/sports and cultural quota seats and seats reserved for persons with disabilities (PD) (all affiliated Colleges) shall be filled by the educational agency concerned

MU University UGCAP Online Registration

The applicants need submit only a single application form for applying online for admission to all the UG Degree Programmes in various affiliated colleges for considering them in the Open/Reservation Quota except sports quota/cultural quota/Lakshadweep quota/quota for Malayalee students from Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Persons with Disabilities(PD) quota.

For SC/ST candidates : Rs 375/

MG University Degree UG CAP Online Application Registration Steps

Visit the official MGU UGCAP web site www.cap.mgu.ac.in.

Click on the “Apply Now” or “Account creation” link provided in the site or use the link www.cap.mgu.ac.in

Click on “Account Creation” link in the menu and then fill in the minimum personal details.

After the successful creation of account, you will be provided an application number. The application number will have to be retained by the candidate for all future online and offline operations.

Pay the application fee by clicking on the “PAY NOW” button which will redirect the applicant to the Online Payment Gateway. Applicant can use Debit Card/ Credit Card or Internet Banking facility for making online payment.

After remitting the fee, the applicant will be redirected back to the application page

Fill in the application form with personal details, academic eligibility and the options correctly. The applicant can give upto forty options.

After satisfying himself/herself that the details entered are correct, the applicants shall press the Final Submission Button.

Take the print out of the confirmation page which will have to be retained by the candidate for future reference.
